Lettuce Seedlings Battered to Death By Rain

I had just planted lettuce seedling in the small garden and watered them in. Two hour later a thunderstorm came over and pelted them to death. I don't think they will survive and one month of growing them from seed was totally wasted. Bad luck with the local weather once more.
