Barbecue Off

A barbecue was planned this evening, as it was the birthday of one of the family here. All was prepared, the meat was in a marinade and all ready to cook. The heavens opened and we had a storm that lasted two hours. Too late for the barbecue as in the oven it went. It is never as good as the charcoal grilled version and the birthday meal wasn’t as good as intended. How many times does it rain when you want a barbecue? Too often!
