I Could Hear A Drawing Pin Drop

I was putting a shopping list on the pin board and a drawing pin fell on the floor. I looked and looked for it but just couldn’t find it anywhere. I was a bit worried because people walk here in the kitchen without any shoes or slippers on. It was five hours later when I found it when I walked on some concrete and heard a click when I landed my left foot on the ground. The drawing pin was stuck in my sole. It must have been there for the whole five hours.
