My breakfast always includes a Bulgarian apple in the morning, they are the sweetest tasting apples. This particular morning a bite was taken and only after the first swallow did a bitter sensation appear. The response was to stop chewing and look at the apple from whence the was taken, it was rotton inside but not before the rotten contents had travelled to my stomach. The rest of the non-rotten parts of the apple were then eaten to regain the sweet taste again.
